Christmas gifts: 9 ideas for every budget

Christmas is getting closer, which means the search for a great gift has begun. For children who love active play, you might be looking for something they can start enjoying as soon as it's unwrapped.

But how much would you like to spend? To make choosing easier, we've put together EXIT Toys gift ideas for young children across three price ranges. From a first slide to a playhouse of their own in the garden.

Christmas gift ideas up to €100: get moving

A big gift doesn't have to come with a big price tag. Up to €100, there are plenty of options that let young children move, play and explore.

For children who enjoy playing together, the My First rotating seesaw is a lovely choice. They go up and down together while the seesaw spins round. For little slide fans, there are the My First slides. The compact My First slide 600 is suitable from age two. Want something a little bigger? Then there's the My First slide 900 for children from age three. You can use both slides indoors and outdoors.

Does your child love hanging, spinning and being on the go? Then the Ivy gym bar fits well within this price range. The bar adjusts to four heights, so children can try out different moves. So even within this budget, there's a real mix of gift ideas: seesawing together, sliding or swinging on the gym bar.

Christmas gift ideas from €100 to €300: time for adventure

With a little more to spend, you can look at other kinds of outdoor toys. In this price range, it's all about exploring independently, moving and imaginative play.

The My First multiplay brings several activities together in one playset. Children can slide, climb, hide in the play tent and come up with a new game again and again. It's suitable from age two and works both indoors and outdoors.

Would your child rather be on the move? Then the Foxy pedal go-karts are a great option. The Foxy was developed for children aged two to five and is available as a go-kart on its own or as a version with a trailer. The trailer can carry cuddly toys, favourite playthings or treasures found along the way.

For children who love making up stories, there's the Hika wooden playhouse. The role play wheel with eight themes turns the same playhouse into something new every time. One day it's a shop or a restaurant, the next it's a castle or a doctor's surgery. Once the gift is unwrapped, a new story can begin again and again.

Christmas gift ideas from €300 to €600: their own play space

Looking for a bigger gift, perhaps together with the grandparents? In this price range, you'll find playhouses and playsets with lots of ways to play.

With the Yuki playhouses, children get a play space of their own where they can play and make up stories. The series includes different versions, for example with a slide, mud kitchen or sandpit. That way, you can pick the Yuki that suits your garden and the way your child likes to play.

The Panorama playhouses come in several versions too: from an open playhouse with a slide to more extensive options with a mud kitchen or sandpit.

For children who love to keep moving, the Ivy playsets are a great fit. Depending on the version, there's climbing, sliding and swinging.

Which Christmas gift suits your child?

Choose something that matches what your child enjoys doing. A little explorer may love a Foxy, while a child who enjoys making up stories may be drawn more to a playhouse. For toddlers who mainly want to climb, slide and move, the My First range is worth a look.
