Placing the EXIT GetSet

Which surface do you recommend for my EXIT GetSet?

GetSet units can be placed on loose surfaces. These include sand, clay, and grass. It is also advisable to place EXIT safety tiles underneath the GetSet. The tiles ensure a softer landing, as they spread the impact of a fall over a larger surface. This reduces the risk of injury. So you can let your children play outside without any worries.

Should I take a safety distance into account while setting up an EXIT GetSet?

We recommend keeping 2 metres free all round with every GetSet play unit and play and sports unit. With a GetSet sports unit, 2.5 metres should be kept clear all round. This prevents users of the GetSet from colliding with a wall, fence, hoarding or other objects while playing and/or exercising.

How far should a GetSet be placed from the plot boundary?

We recommend keeping 2 metres free all round for a GetSet play unit and play and sports unit. For a GetSet sports unit, we recommend keeping a distance of 2.5 metres all round. This prevents children from colliding with a wall, fence, hoarding or other objects while playing.

Do I need a foundation plan for anchoring an EXIT GetSet?

An anchoring set (excluding quick concrete) is supplied with every GetSet as standard, including a step-by-step plan. This shows you exactly how to firmly anchor your GetSet. In our GetSet assembly videos, we provide useful tips and tricks for both the anchoring and assembly of the GetSet monkeybar.

Before digging, think carefully about where to place the GetSet, also in connection with cables and pipes that may be in the ground. This way, you avoid damaging them.

Which concrete do you recommend anchoring the EXIT GetSet in?

We recommend using quick concrete for anchoring the GetSet. Two bags of 25 kg per ground anchor will do.
